Description
RIBA Agreements 2007 have now been superseded by the new RIBA Agreements 2010. The 2007 editions can still be used but will be withdrawn from sale in December 2010. Archive copies will be available electronically after this date. For further information on RIBA Agreements 2010 click here.
RIBA Agreements 2007 are designed to provide the components of a flexible system which can be assembled to create contracts tailored to the needs of the project in hand. They take account of 2007 statutory and legal changes and are based on the RIBA Outline Plan of Work 2007.
Separate versions are available for the appointment of the Architect or the Consultant and the system includes a wide range of Services Schedules for the architectural and related professions.
The Standard Agreement for the appointment of an Architect replaces the SFA/99 and CE/99.
The pack contains:
- Standard Conditions of Appointment for an Architect - Architect's copy
- Standard Conditions of Appointment for an Architect - Client's copy
- Standard Agreement for the Appointment of an Architect: Memorandum of Agreement
- Standard Agreement: Model Letter
- Standard Agreement: Notes on use and completion
- Project Data
- Schedule of Design Services
- Schedule of Fees and Expenses
- Schedule of Role Specifications
The format of the RIBA Agreements 2007 is different from previous RIBA Standard Forms of Appointment to suit both paper and electronic usage. The full versatility of the new forms can only be fully appreciated in the on-line version where the user has the ability to customise the content of the components to suit the project in question.
For full details of the on-line forms, go to www.ribabookshops.com/agreements. To download a FREE copy of the RIBA Outline Plan of Work 2007, see extracts and additional materials below. This version of the RIBA Outline Plan of Work includes the Corrigenda issued in January 2009.
