Description
Accessibility has now been recognised as a serious issue, thanks largely to a combination of changing attitudes and legislation. In terms of design and architecture, freedom from barriers makes possible an independent and self-determined lifestyle, encouraging mobility and successful integration between different groups of people.
Over 50 current projects are presented with the help of texts, photos, plans and diagrams. These constructions communicate a modern language of form, helping to create and shape contemporary living spaces for people. These are truly buildings for the future.
