Julian Owen

Julian Owen MBE RIBA is an architect who has been helping people build and improve their homes for many years. He has written magazine articles and regularly delivered seminars at exhibitions on the subject of improving, designing and constructing homes. He runs his own practice in the East Midlands, and is chair of ASBA, the architects’ network that he founded with his colleague, Adrian Spawforth, in 1993. David Hill has worked in construction for as long as he can remember. His career started in building control although today he runs his own private surveying practice where he operates as a claims investigator and loss adjuster for several insurance companies. David has been a past president of the District Surveyors Association and policy advisor to the Local Government Association. Today he works part time for the Federation of Master Builders and writes regularly for the Masterbuilder publication. David is Chairman of the local Chamber of Trade in his spare time.

Peter Chilvers

Peter Chilvers FRICS MBEng is a Chartered Building Surveyor who worked for many years in Building Control witnessing work to people’s homes. Nowadays Peter works for PRP Architects.
