Description

Risk and Value Management, the fifth release in the Construction Companion series, offers an introductory toolbox of techniques for managing risk and value in construction projects for architects and other building professionals.Identifying and assigning risk to deliver good value has become an increasingly important objective as projects become more complex and non-traditional procurement routes proliferate. This book describes the social and psychological dimensions of risk and value through a series of fascinating examples, whilst also examining the dominant trend towards partnering and its specific impact upon the assignment of risk and, consequently, upon value.
