Description
A timely new edition of this title from the prolific and marvellous David Shrigley, which first appeared in 1995 as part of Book Works New Writing Series. Shrigley is a singularartist based in Glasgow, and his work has been described as having the ability to make one laugh and cry at the same time. Err illustrates the moral and artistic conundrums at the heart of contemporary commentary, using drawings that are darkly humourous and deeply unsettling. Though they are simple they are near-impossible to describe adequately, but there is no-one else like him (except maybe Ivor Cutler), and this is a fine and affordable introduction to his world.
