Description

The Future Architecture journal,which is published four times a year, features conversations with emergent architects and their competitions; an analysis of 6-8 current competitions; discussion with the winning architects of a recent competition; completed competitions and their construction details; and, news of recent competitions being developed around the world. Text is in English and Spanish.

Future 16/17 focuses on a selection of design competitions taking place around the world, including schemes for the Guggenheim Museum in Lithuania, the Broad Art Museum in the USA, a social housing development in Spain, and the redevelopment of the city of Saemangeum in Korea. Featured architects include David Chipperfield Architects, Zaha Hadid Architects, Coop Himmelb(l)au and Studio Daniel Libeskind.
