Description
The Caravan Gallery is a gallery in a caravan and visual arts project run by artists Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale, who are on a mission to record the ordinary and extraordinary details of life in 21st century Britain. These photographs represent aspects of leisure, landscape and lifestyle in the UK today; some illustrate current trends and preoccupations such as 'regeneration' and the consequences thereof, others arise from chance encounters and accidental discoveries. So there are photographs of buildings healthy and decrepit, graffiti, curious signage, people picnicking and at the seaside, and the best barbershop sign you ever did see. Quirky.
