Description

The Danish Academy in Rome is a fine example of modern architecture by the Danish architect Kay Fisker. Kay Fisker (1893-1965)was an architect who knew how to transfer the cubist design ideals of international Functionalism into simple brick buildings. Kay Fisker and the Danish Academy in Rome documents the development of the building from the initial design phase through to completion, accompanied by original working drawings and photographs from Jens Lindhe.
