Description

This is the new paperback edition of Powell's popular book. It succinctly describes and illustrates over 100 outstanding projects, both large and small, from around Britain none completed earlier than 2001, and some still under construction or planned. Each project is described and pictured, and most have plans shown also. Big projects like the Eden Project and Scottish parliament are here, but so too are many of the less high-profile but no less interesting buildings such as the Sutton Hoo Visitor Centre and David Adjaye's 'Dirty House' in east London. This is required reading for anyone wishing to keep up with what's being built in Britain.
