The National Federation of Demolition Contractors Ltd first published its Form of Direct Contract in 1960. The document; revised in 1974, 1982, 1994, 2000 and now again in 2007; is intended to fulfil a need for contract suitable for use by any party contemplating demolition projects and consequently it encompasses items which specifically arise from demolition work.
Accordingly, the 2000 edition has now been revised and updated to align with current practice in the industry; relevant amendments arising from all previous editions have been reviewed, updated and, if appropriate, incorporated into the 2007 edtion.
