Description

Peter Walker and Partners (PWP) are responsible for some of the most beautiful and iconic works of landscape architecture in the world.

This book features their work since 1997 and brilliantly highlights the firms range including sixteen built projects in Europe, Asia and the United States, parks, corporate headquarters, foundations, museums and urban plazas. The book also includes seven works in progress including the American Embassy in Beijing and the World Trade Centre Memorial in New York City.

The book opens with a short essay about the organization and philosophy of the office, the partners and associates, and the particular way that PWP practises the craft of landscape architecture. It concludes with four competitions, including one for 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
