Description
The Specifiers Handbooks for Inclusive Design series has been prepared to assist designers, specifiers, building owners and occupiers, building managers and facilities managers to understand key design aspects and characteristics of specific architectural elements. It combines technical guidance with informative case studies, aiming to facilitate a practical understanding of the element in focus.
The information will assist people responsible for the selection and specification of each architectural element to make decisions which will lead to the procurement of the most suitable products. The information will also assist people who are responsible for ongoing maintenance to understand the importance of regular checks and the implications for disabled and other people if equipment is taken out of action for any reason.
The complete set contains the following five titles:
Glass In Buildings
Internal Floor Finishes
Platform Lifts
Automatic Door Systems
Architectural Ironmongery
