Moleskine present a catalogue-style book collecting 378 full-colour illustrations consisting of sketches and drawings from a selection of internationally acclaimed architects.
All the sketches have been charitably donated to raise funds for the restoration and public opening of one of Portaluppis masterpieces the Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan by the FAI, the Italian fund for the environment.
Complementing the new A4 Moleskine Folio format, the collection also contains interesting and previously unpublished essays that explore drawing and sketching as the most important tools at the architects disposal, as well as being the root of the design process and a metaphor for any creative endeavour. Features the work of Norman Foster, Renzo Piano, Zaha Hadid, Tadao Ando, Paolo Portoghesi, David Chipperfield, Mario Botta, Matteo Thun and many more.
