Description

Transient Sedimentation is an exploration of city movement, landscape and of unknown, invisible spaces. Lars Kordetzky is an architect and artist concerned with immersion in movement, the impressions within and between spaces, and this book presents beautifully reproduced images from three of his pieces:- 'Drift', 'Lost Space' and 'Splinters'. It is not a manifesto for development, but rather a dreamlike exploration of the lines and currents swirling around cities (chiefly Manhattan and Vienna). Zones, matrices, drifting... these are the tropes of unmoored psychogeography, but presented in a singularly elegant fashion.
