There are a number of ways in which you can place your order:

Order online
Follow the instructions and order through our secure online service. UK online orders over £60 (excluding VAT) are sent post free.

Order online, pay by cheque
Follow the instructions and select the "payment by cheque" option. We will then hold on to your submitted order until your cheque is received. Your order will then be processed by our mail order Customer Service team.

Order online, pick up from our London Bookshop
Customers may, if they prefer, collect their goods from our London Bookshop at 66 Portland Place, London W1. To arrange a Bookshop pick-up, simply select the "I will collect from the RIBA Bookshop" option on the order form. As soon as your order is received, our Customer Service team will then contact you to confirm that the book will be available for collection. Please await confirmation before visiting the shop to collect your book.

Subject to stock availability, orders are normally despatched the following working day.

RIBA Bookshops UK orders are usually delivered within 3 working days (subject to stock availability) with no additional charges. Guaranteed next day delivery services are also available.

Cheque/International Money Order. These must be in Sterling and drawn on a UK bank. Please make payable to RIBA Bookshop.

Credit/debit cards - VISA / MASTERCARD / DELTA / MAESTRO / SOLO / AMERICAN EXPRESS

Shopping with RIBA Bookshop is safe. All orders travel over SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) which encrypts your details making them secure from interception. We do not store credit card details but pass the information onto a PCI compliant partner that has a secure payment handling server.

Within mainland UK, goods weighing less than approximately 2kg are sent by First Class post, while those weighing more than 2kg are usually sent by our 1-2 day courier service. A signature will be required on delivery for couriered items. Goods sent outside the UK are sent by standard courier service unless otherwise requested, taking approximately 7–21 days.

UK orders placed online with a value over £60 (excluding VAT) receive FREE post & packing. Otherwise post and packing is charged at 10% of the order value of UK orders (subject to a minimum charge of £3) and 20% of the order value for overseas orders (subject to a minimum charge of £10). Overseas orders may take 7-21 working days.

VAT is charged for postage & packing on VAT-able items for UK/European customers. Overseas customers (including the Channel Islands and Switzerland) are not charged VAT.
