Returns and Refunds

In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your order or goods are damaged, goods should be returned in a re-saleable condition (with original packaging where possible, along with the returns form sent with your order) within 14 days of the invoice date for UK customers and 28 days for overseas customers.

Damaged/incorrect items: a complete refund for the items and the original dispatch costs will be provided. RIBA Bookshops will also bear the cost of returning the goods, either by refund or arranging for the goods to be collected at our cost.

Other/unwanted items: RIBA Bookshops will refund the cost of the returned item only. We are unable to refund original postage costs or cost of returning the item.

Software/downloadable products: software products which have been unsealed are returned at the discretion of RIBA Bookshops. No refunds can be issued for electronic documentation/downloads including RIBA Agreements Online and CIC Contracts Online.



Online free despatch offer: customers who qualify for the online free despatch offer will be asked to reimburse the postage costs, in full, if any subsequent adjustment or return results in the final order value falling below the qualifying amount.



Any claim for non or late delivery must be made within 28 days of placing the order.
