About Us
The regional bookshop and offices at the RIBA’s base on Margaret Street in central Birmingham has had something of a facelift in recent months. The bookshop has become, the RIBA would like to think, an attractive and inviting place in which to browse. For those that knew the bookshop of old, we thank you for your support over the years and we hope that you will enjoy and appreciate the change.
Our extensive range of contracts and practice publications means that the RIBA Bookshop in Birmingham is your ‘one stop shop for all construction contracts and practice publications’.
Please do pop in and say hello and be assured of a warm welcome.

Spiritual Architecture is a beautifully illustrated book which presents a selection of recent religious building projects, showing that while the most famous examples may be venerable and storied, religion continues to capture the imagination of architects, designers and other creative types. Featured buildings are shown with plans, colour photographs and text. Temples, churches, mosques, synagogues, and pyramids - all are examples of one of the most ancient forms of architecture, the religious building. The examples here also demonstrate religion's seemingly endless capacity to reflect and adapt to changing times.
